An imaginative child

Her books fascinate children and adults all over the world, she is one of the most popular authors to date, and she has won many awards. Hungry readers line up bookstores whenever her new book comes out. Her books made her one of the richest women in the world. She is J.K. Rowling, author of the world-famous Harry Potter series.

In 1997, J.K. Rowling published the first Harry Potter book - Harry Potter and the Alchemy. A year later, the book, renamed Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published in the United States. The book introduces readers to Harry Potter as an 11-year-old orphan with a peculiar electric-lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. Harry didn't know the scar, he was a powerful wizard who had learned the truth about his past and figured out how to use his magic at the wizarding school known as Hegwarts. In the books that follow, Harry learns more about his power and mysterious past, and prepares to face the dangerous wizard who murdered Harry's parents.

J.K. Rowling didn't expect her book to be such a hit. She didn't intend to write a best-selling children's book, and the fact that it sold well came as a complete surprise to her. J.K. Rowling was born on July 31, 1965. Her parents, Peter and Anne, had met on a train the previous year, when both Peter and Anne were in the Royal Navy. They married in 1965, and Joanne was their first child.

The Rowlings' first home was Art, a small town about 10 miles northeast of Bristol. Peter and Anne left the Royal Navy shortly before their marriage. Peter works as a production engineer at an aircraft factory in Bristol, while Anne stays at home as a stay-at-home mother to her daughter.

The Rowlings bought a small one-story house on a street called Sadrezy Parker. In the 1960s, the area around Sadreji Park was filled with fields and open spaces, and Kingsgate Park was within walking distance.

When Rowling was nearly two years old, she became a big sister, and Anne gave birth to Diana in June 1967. Although Rowling was born in a hospital, Diana was born at home, and Diana's birth is Rowling's earliest childhood memory.

Shortly after Diana was born, the family moved to a town called Winstable, about four miles away. Winstable is more rustic in Biat, and the Rowlings felt it was a more ideal place to raise their children.

Peter continued to work at the aircraft factory, while Anne remained at home, a devoted mother to Rowling and Diana. The family's favorite pastime is reading books, and neighbors always commented like this: The Rowlings have more books than any other in the neighborhood.

Peter also likes to read to his children. Later, Rowling always loved to recall a favorite childhood memory: when she was very young, she had measles, and to kill time, her father read her "The Wind Among the Willows" - a classic British children's book.

Rowling especially admired the way the animals behaved like people in this book, which was a major influence on her later writing, and many of the animals in her "Harry Potter" had human characteristics.

Rowling and Diana were especially close, and they had many friends in Nichols Alley where they lived, two of the best friends being Vicki and Ran Porter (later, Rowling loved to use waves in her books. special name). Rowling, the eldest of four children, was often a teacher in their childhood games.

The 4 kids especially like to imagine, one of their favorite games is "Wizards and Witches", the kids borrow brooms from the garage, run around the yard, pretend to fly, they wear fancy clothes and look like they play characters.

Even when she was very young, storytelling was one of Rowling's favorite activities. One day Rowling made up a story to tease her sister. The story is about a little girl named Dee who fell down a rabbit hole and was rescued by a family of rabbits who fed her strawberries. Diana liked this story and asked Rowling to tell her over and over again. Diana, however, was dissatisfied with Rowling's way of either tampering with or adding to the story every time she told the story. To address this, Rowling began writing her story down.

Rowling discovered that she loved writing stories, and she decided that one day she would make a living by writing them. Yet Rowling hasn't told anyone about her ambitions, and she's been tight-lipped about her plans for years.

The Rowlings were happy in Winstable, but Peter and Anne always dreamed of buying an old house.

When Rowling was 9 years old, her parents sold their old house in Nichols Lane and moved to the village of Tatshill. Their home is a stone house. While their parents were happy to live in an old country house, Rowling and Diana didn't. Like children elsewhere, they are afraid of moving to a new home, making new friends, and adjusting to a new school.

Rowling, who started attending primary schools in England when she was 9 years old, had an unhappy first day at her new school, and her new teacher, Sylvia Morgan, gave her a maths test to see how well she was doing. Unfortunately, the test questions contained fractional content that she hadn't learned in her old school, and she scored poorly. Rowling's low score convinced Mrs. Morgan that Rowling was not smart. The seating arrangement in Mrs. Morgan's classroom was interesting, with the brightest students to her left, the less responsive students to her right, and Rowling to the far right of the room.

"I was sitting on the far right side as far as you could get, and I was almost on the playground," she said later.

Rowling knew she was smart, and she had to prove it to Mrs. Morgan and the other students. To achieve this, Rowling studied hard, and by the end of that year, her seat was upgraded to the second seat from the left. Sadly, Rowling's improvement at school came at the expense of some of her friendships, as the girls in the class thought she was showing off. She and Diana love long walks through the Forest of Dean. This area is the ideal backdrop for Rowling's imaginative tales of heroism and magic. Rowling also participates in regional organizations, she was a Cub Scout for several years, and participated in social service work.

Traveling through the sea of books and indulging in books has always been Rowling's favorite self-entertainment project. She especially likes stories about adventurous girls. One of her favorite books as a child was Elizabeth Gooch's "Little White Horse". The reason why she has a soft spot for this book is because the heroine in it is very personal. She is not beautiful and often falls into distress. Maybe Rowling feels that the heroine is more or less her portrayal.

Another writer Rowling likes is Jane Austen. Austen was an English 19th-century writer whose books featured a nuanced observation of human behavior and society, and Rowling also favored books with a magical element, C. S. Lewis, E. Nesbitt, and Paul Galli These writers all hold a certain place in her heart.

Rowling not only watched, but continued to write, and she fleshed out her story with some charismatic characters with unusual adventures. Despite her passion for writing, no one knows her novels except her sister Diana.

In 1976, Rowling graduated from primary school and entered a preparatory school - a comprehensive school in the United Kingdom. She was only 11 years old at the time, and she didn't feel comfortable in the crowd of sixteen or seventeen-year-olds. An ordinary, unremarkable face, ugly glasses, and a head of unappetizing hair kept her away from glamour. She felt shy and insecure.

Although she is shy, she has learned a lot, and her novels are well-received and acclaimed. Regrettably, her achievements once again attracted the eyes of some students, who thought she was either arrogant or a show-off.

Gradually she began to adapt to the environment. Her popularity expanded after she got involved in a fight with a big girl. Although she publicly declares that she only leaned against a row of lockers to avoid being knocked down in a fight, her classmates adored her for not flinching in the face of attacks from other girls. Rowling found that her courage made her famous at school.

Although she's an outsider, she did build a close circle of friends. How similar these friends are to her, Nell - shy, serious, and loves books. When she was a child living in Winstable, she became the center of the children, telling stories of her friends and their intrepidness.
