University students wear 'rubbish bag' dresses

 A 23-year-old student at the University of Gloucestershire wore a special gown made out of black rubbish bags to his graduation ceremony because he couldn't afford to rent it. Will Radford, who graduated with a degree in photography, took the stage in a black suit made out of garbage bags, describing his outfit as a "statement" because he had paid enough for the course. "I was basically unemployed for a year after college," Will explained. I've just moved to a new place and have only £100 left. I really can't afford it, that's not an exaggeration."

A family in Germany has erected 444 Christmas trees at their home

Lion in Botswana sees man as' father '

The farmer trained his sheepdogs to drive the turkeys home


Farmer Steve Childerhouse, 47, from Norfolk, UK, trains his two sheepdogs to herd 10,000 free-range turkeys home each night. Two sheepdogs, PIP and Tilly, can reportedly herd the fey turkeys back in 45 minutes. American woman barters hairpins for house

Mini tornado hits Sydney, Australia
