The jug of terror that the ancient Greeks cast a curse on the haters has been discovered

In Greece, archaeologists have unearthed peculiar pots from around 300 BC from ancient Athenian ruins. The surface of the pot is engraved with the names of 55 people, and inside are the severed chicken heads and leg bones, as well as iron nails running through the pot.

The excavation was carried out by Dr. Jessica Lamont of Yale University in the United States, and it is said that this is the pot that curses all those whose names are inscribed. Iron nails were very common in ancient spells and were a symbol of the coercive force that blocked the opponent, and the body of a slaughtered chicken symbolized the hope that the same disaster would befall the hater.

In addition, burnt seeds and animal carcasses were found around the body of the pot, which are said to increase the power of the curse. Judging from the handwriting on the pot, it was two people who cast the curse, but the reason for the curse is unknown. But Dr Lamont pointed to the frequent trials in Athens at the time as a possible trigger.

Those who use this jug may curse all those who have disputes in the trial and their relatives, as well as those who may testify against them.

This is the story of a ring. In 1973, Debra, a student at Moss High School in Portland, Maine, received a graduation ring from senior Sean McKenna. But she soon lost the ring.

The two got married four years later, in 1977, and stayed with each other for 40 years. In 2017, Sean tragically passed away from cancer. Then, the lost ring was found in Finland.

Initials engraved on the inside of the ring

Treasure hunter Marco Saarinen, who lives in Turku, found a buried silver ring while searching underground with a metal detector in the forest AD. In addition to the school name, class, and graduation date, the ring is also engraved with the two letters "S·M".

So Saarinen contacted the school through the Internet, and soon found out that the owner of the ring was Sean McKenna. Sadly, the person involved has passed away. But his wife, Debra, was still alive, and Saarinen sent her the ring back.

Debra, who is holding the ring again after about half a century, believes the miracle was her husband's message to "be together forever". The journey before the ring remains a mystery to this day.
